This is an Emporio Armani dress from the 1990’s. The bust is 34 inches, the empire waist is 30 inches and the hips are 44 inches. From the high waist to hem is 49 inches. Remember the measurement for an empire waist is larger than your normal waist. It is marked size 42. There is pitting on the back of the dress and a stain in front. See photos.

GORGEOUS HANDMADE 1970s GOWN made from a pattern by VOGUE PARIS ORIGINALS. In my opinion, the Vogue Paris Originals pattern is theNina Ricci Dress Pattern #1077. I have no way to confirm this but the structuring of the panels looks super similar.

Just a minor bit of TLC needed to revive this dress. It’s so pretty! The dress is as found and has not been dry cleaned. There are a few ‘dirt’ marks on the skirt – see photos. There are also a few areas where the crochet lace has small holes but not big ones- cuffs, bodice.
I believe this to be cotton, but there is no tag. Does have a spot on the back and some of the white embroidery is discolored from . Have not tried to clean. Nice handmade dirndl with rick-rack trim. It is a bit short-waisted, but there is extra material at the waist that it could be taken down a little. The skirt is an off-white natural linen color. Could be worn by itself as a dress or with an apron as a dirndl.
