Shawl collar. 2 button closure, glass and gold tone metal. Shoulder pads. Short back kick pleat. Jacket: Bust is 38 inches. Waist is 32 inches. Bottom edge is 38 inches. Shoulder seam to seam is 16-1/2 inches. Sleeve is 21-1/2 inches long. There is 1-1/2 inches that could be let down for a longer sleeve. Length is 21-1/2 inches. Jacket is fully lined in satin. Skirt: Waist is 28 inches. Hips are 40 inches. Length is 24 inches. Zipper and button closure. Lined in the back. Wonderful condition.

This slip is a Barbizon « Ariel » model, which was a highly popular design from the late 1940s through the 1960s. The « Ariel » is famously made from Barbizon’s proprietary Tafredda fabric, a 50/50 blend of nylon and polyester.
1960s Barbizon Petti-Lee dyed pink half slip, « Tafredda » taffeda fabric. Embroidery along scalloped bottom. With 7″ side slit. Dyed pink, originally white. Has a few faint discoloration spots (oxidation from age/storage) that only visible in the right light.
Preowned in very good, clean condition. Pet and smoke free.

Cardigan is in good preowned condition. There is an untreated spot on back of right arm (photo included). Chest armpit to armpit 18.5”.
The sweater is made of 5% Angora Rabbit Hair, 85% lamb’s wool, 10% Nylon. There is a small stain at the hem, see last photo. I did not try to remove the stain. The bodice is lined, the sleeves are not.
