The fabric has a textured jacquard flower print, and a slight sheen. Could possibly be a silk blend. The inner lining is this super soft satin cream fabric. There are no labels. It has button closures, one inner, one outer.

Lovely vintage 1970’s floral print button up dress. I’d really love to keep this, but it sadly doesn’t fit. Very well made. Has two pockets. In great vintage condition. Measurements shown in photos. The torch was passed. My mother also wore lots of Bonnie Cashin in the 1960s and 1970s so I was aware of the modern minimalists, and sought them out for her when I found them. 23” across hip. I have been in the biz and know how it works.

This amazing true vintage 1960s handmade Moroccan Caftan is in near-perfect condition. The stunning details include 113 closures down the front (yes, I counted them ) and 9 closures on each sleeve. Beautiful green and gold brocade and fully lined in yellow. Handmade in Tangier Morocco in the 1960’s by « Au Chic », this rare item is more than a Garment, it is a wearable work of art. After careful inspection, the only thing I can find wrong with it are two of the buttons on the very bottom side slit are missing & can be seen in the last photo. This is hardly noticeable as I never noticed it until I was inspecting it inch by inch. The rest of the Caftan is in impeccable condition with no other flaws and without odors.
