I can’t get over how adorable this vintage handmade dress is! It has such bright color and life in it along with some pretty lace and a zipper. There are couple small holes on the back from something but they are hardly even noticeable, and there is one minor stain on the neckline. Other than that it is in beautiful condition! This antique Victorian era white cotton black diamond polka dot print calico lace collar dress dates from 1900. It is made of a sheer white cotton batiste lawn calico fabric with a black diamond polka dot print, pintuck details and white lace trim inserts.

This product is a rare and exquisite 1870’s black Taffeta bodice with handmade lace neckline insert, embodying the elegance and sophistication of the Victorian era. This piece is strong enough to be worn occasionally.
Authentic Victorian era bodice jacket (circa 1870s–1890s) is a stunning example of historical tailoring. Made of sturdy black fabric (I think wool as has a couple small holes on back as shown), crochet covered wood buttons, it features a structured, boned interior lined with cotton fabric.
Functions historically as an under-bodice, or jacket insert (dickie). It shows normal signs of age, storage, and wear. Needs cleaning. The center features a striking, high-contrast black velvet placket adorned with small pearl-style buttons.
