Groovy drop waist mini dress is handmade from what I believe is acrylic bark cloth. Bright and vibrant colors in red, yellow, olive green, dark & light brown, and white stripes. Waist : 28. Length : 36 in.
Looks similar to Gunne sax from the 70s. The front of the skirt is flat around the waist and the back is gathered by elastic.

I love this dress. It is simple but special still with the detail on top. The hem is undone and I thought about sewing it up, but I actually think it would look great. Gives it a kind of modern look, which is fun with the 50s five.

Beautiful, soft hand knit poncho or capelet, rich red color, in a diamond lace pattern with fringe hem, 2 matching red buttons at the neckline. Handmade, one of a kind piece, by Ruth Shutwell in approx. 1960-1970 with loving care. Yarn feels of a mid-weight acrylic, possibly with a wool mix but I cannot guarantee that. I can guarantee it is beautiful.
