SUPER RARE 1970s Betsey Johnson Alley Cat Spacey Funky Distressed Wool Sweater. Super unique design, haven’t found an exact match online, but have found sweaters with similar designs, likely from the same collection. 12.5 inches pit to pit, 19 inches top to bottom. Love this 1990s era Betsey Johnson dress! Belonged to my Mom, but I stole it by the late 1990s claiming it was too sexy for her! Not punk label era Betsey, but still made in the USA quality. 10.5″ length of stretch cotton bodice at side (rest of the length is sheer cotton skirt).
It’s a dramatic dress that’s both comfortable and striking. The skirt of the dress is to die for — full, twirly and graceful. With pockets! The material, like many of her dresses from this period, has a good deal of stretch.
