Vtg STAN HERMAN Bubble Gum Pink Chenille Robe Button Front Short Sleeve XXL/OS This bubble-gum-pink robe or swimsuit cover up is very « Ethel Merman on the Love Boat » and I couldn’t love it more. It appears to be 100% cotton terrycloth and has alternating pink and silver-colored buttons down the front. The terry is patterned on the waist and sleeves. Oh, and it has pockets! MEASUREMENTS: No size label. Measures 23″ flat across the waist and 38″ from shoulder to hem. This estate find was such a pleasant surprise because it’s rare to find vintage garments that are made for larger folks! I’m size 16 and 5’4 and it fit me with plenty of room. I would call this a modern XXL. Please note: I have not washed this robe. It appears to be clean but has that « old closet » smell. I recommend hand washing in mild detergent and laying flat to dry. CONDITION: Vintage used condition. No visible holes, tears, repairs, or stains. Pilling inside and out. Some minor discoloration near the waist closure.
