The veil is cathedral length and the lace is shredding. The dress is exceptionally beautiful. The top portion is a creamy silk and near the neckline on the left side is glass beading. More of this glass beading is around the waist just on the right side.

Sunao Kuwahara was the chief designer behind the label I.S (Issey Sport) staring in 1989 but took it with him and changed the name in the early 90s. But Issey Sport, yes that Issey, has always had a really easy to wear flavor. Sort of similar to a vintage French farm jacket or something from German label Rundholz, this crumpled Oliver Twist look in khaki brown waxed cotton has hidden buttons and patch pockets. With a really slouchy long Plantation skirt and oxfords, you can just wear a tank top uhderneath and button it all the way up. Easy peasy. As found and only lighlty cleaned. Good YKK zip, Lining good, one pocket button missing the stud (inner part). Neck stain to corduroy collar. Would have had a belt that’s gone. 49cm shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
Excellent condition! Shows very little to no wear! Design looks like a snake or snail with a crown. Top has a back keyhole silver anchor button closure. Pants have a drawstring and zipper in front for closure.

This extremely well made lace antique gown is striking. The dress and lining are all one piece, and it comes with the tiny satin wedding shoes and two long pieces of handmade wax flowers that probably made up the original bridal crown. The portion of the bodice lining that is silk is shredding. The cotton portion and the lace are in wonderful vintage condition. The skirt has 3 layers. The exterior, and there are two silk lining layers. The exterior layer and the one with the matching scalloped hem are in wonderful condition, the last layer that is a very fine silk does have some issues. Areas that normally have issues in antique dresses are actually in very good condition, Under the arms and on the top of the shoulders are still very much intact. The front waist line area needs repair. The label in the waist belt has the name Effie Malone Philadelphia The hem of the skirt is trimmed in bias silk 1 inch wide trim, some os perfect and some as some minor issues. This is a recent French Flea Market find! I got it at a flea market in the south of France. It is really stunning and rather unique from the others that I have seen in that it has fabric flowers as well as the wax berries.
