This extremely well made lace antique gown is striking. The dress and lining are all one piece, and it comes with the tiny satin wedding shoes and two long pieces of handmade wax flowers that probably made up the original bridal crown. The portion of the bodice lining that is silk is shredding. The cotton portion and the lace are in wonderful vintage condition. The skirt has 3 layers. The exterior, and there are two silk lining layers. The exterior layer and the one with the matching scalloped hem are in wonderful condition, the last layer that is a very fine silk does have some issues. Areas that normally have issues in antique dresses are actually in very good condition, Under the arms and on the top of the shoulders are still very much intact. The front waist line area needs repair. The label in the waist belt has the name Effie Malone Philadelphia The hem of the skirt is trimmed in bias silk 1 inch wide trim, some os perfect and some as some minor issues.
