This is an antique Victorian petticoat. The fabric has quite a bit of body and weight to it. This Victorian era petticoat would provide a good deal of fullness under a skirt. There is a drawstring at the waist, but it only draws closed at the back, again providing fullness and shape in the derriere region.

I purchased it years ago from an antique clothing store.The owner told me that its 1860’s-1880ish..It looks very nice..Has some fabric tearing on the very thin top chest/neck part.I dont see any other damage to the piece on the front or back..Its approximately 18 inches from shoulder to shoulder and 41.5 inches from top of shoulder to the bottom of the dress.its pretty heavy and a few different layers and fabrics.

Antique 1870s to 1880s Cotton Blouse or Jacket. The fabric is a cotton calico in a floral pattern with an ivory cotton liner. Was made for a girl of teenage years or a very petite lady. This is in excellent condition especially for its age.
The fabric has a small brown and beige pattern on a white background. The bodice is lined with cotton and has a front hook and eye closure. The skirt is unlined. The in very good condition. The dress hemline has been turned up but can easily be lowered again.

This antique cape is very unusual in the fact it’s in such rare great condition! Made of a dark brown silk velvet with black silk inside liner. The velvet has a silky sheen but it’s thick & cotton feeling.

This is an exquisite 1880s dinner dress of heavy, rich floral silk cut velvet and satin. It’s not as tiny as other survivors from the era. With a little TLC shoring up how it fastens so as not to stress the antique fabrics and buttons, it would be entirely wearable.

A delightful antique original Victorian 1880’s orange paisley print cotton prairie dress. The bodice has a gathered pleated front and the sleeve have a wide cuff. The waist is trimmed with a self fabric belt. The dress is unlined and has a back button closure. The dress is in very good and sturdy condition. There are no holes and no underarm discoloration. There are two section on the belt that have missing fabric and a few scattered small pea size age spots. I would use fabric from the under hem to fix the belt or replace it with ribbon. One side both front and back has a V shaped overlay in black silk velvet ribbon and the other side is more of the silk netting. There is an area on back where the silk netting overlay was repaired, and a tear to the interior silk on the bodice back, so I do think that wearing this fragile creation would be dicey at best, but excellent for pattern, study or display!

The five buttons even though concealed by the front overlap are worked in silk with a checked pattern, with the buttonholes hand stitched and there are wide black ribbons draped from the front as well, making this very likely the mourning coat of a wealthy woman.

I’m not sure what the fabric is — silk or cotton. It has some hand stitching. 4216 Here is an amazing antique 1880’s woman’s fitted bodice extensively beaded and decorated with braid and lace. The piece was probably an evening, fancy dress item. There are two styles of black glass buttons alternating up the front; one is acorns and oak leaves, the other is decoratively swirled leaves.

This black silk pleated skirt was originally part of a two piece bustle dress. The waist is 24 inches and the length from waist band to hem is 39.5 inches. The waist band has been reinforced with grosgrain ribbon. The back opening and placket of the skirt needs some repair. See photos. There is wear to the top of the silk pleats and wear to the bottom of the skirt. There are stitch witchery patches inside the skirt. These are not visible from the outside.
