This is an 1880’s winter wool bodice that would have originally been part of a two piece bustle gown. The fabric is beautiful. It is a red/brown color with black and white mixed in. It is missing one of its amazing buttons and has some underarm wear otherwise very good. The shoulders are 13 inches, the sleeves are 23 inches and the front length from shoulder to hem is 19 inches. The bust is 33 inches and the waist is 35 inches.
Lots and lots of major and minor flaws – holes, stains, yellowing, missing hooks, non-functional hooks, uneven dye color, etc. length – top of waistband to hem 41.5″.

Tiered bubble skirt in satin and ruffled lace, with gold ribbon accents. Sort of an 80s glam rock and old west victorian look combined. 100% acetate. Zip up back closure. The dress is in pretty good shape for it’s age. The gold ribbons have a bit of fraying on their edges, and there are a number of small rips in the back of the lace bottom tier, which could probably be repaired. All pictured.
