Beautiful fine cotton Turn of the Century 1900’s Lawn Gown that is so sweet with all the floral white work embroidery. I have had her packed away for Decades. She originally came from a small 1700’s Farmhouse on the Vermont side on Lake Champlain towards the Canadian Border. Sweet as a unique Summer Wedding Gown. Pretty much ready to wear as is. One hook and eye is rusty in back, but hidden when closed. Some very light marks from storage, a gentle soak would really make her shine! Bust 32”. Waist 22”. Hip 36” Length 45”. Made in the early 90s. Small dark stain on skirt that is difficult to see. Skirt length from natural waist 24″. Fits like a size 6.

The full, loose skirt is ready for slow stroll or a big party. The fabric has small, fixable flaws shown in photos 17-19, the last three photos. Last two are on the hem. I will note any defect I detect.
This lovely dress has a fitted bodice covered with tight rows of pleats. It’s very structured inside and looks to hold you up high. It’s fitted to the waist where it’s tied with a dark green velvet bow.

Looks great except for the stretch is going in the wrong direction so it’s SUPER tiny. Stretch in fabric is up/down VS side to side. You can also take it apart and add a stretchy fabric to the side seams which would look amazing!
